NEW ACQUISITION Dunmore, PA -- Schreiber & Goldberg Limited acquired the Artwood Puller Company on August 26, 1999. Schreiber & Goldberg intends to begin manufacturing the complete line of Artwood Pullers shortly in its manufacturing facilities located in northeastern Pennsylvania. The company will be known as Artwood Puller International and will share facilities with its sister companies: Automated Components International, Pennsylvania Sewing Research, Sal-Bee Machine Limited, Silverman Machines International and Atlas Rapid Racks. Joseph Hollander, President and Chief Operating Officer, was quoted as saying: "We hope to return the Artwood Puller line of variable speed cloth pullers to its place of prominence in the sewn products industries." Artwood intends to manufacture a complete line of variable speed pullers for standard sewing machines as well as overlock and blindstitch machines. In addition, Artwood will manufacture a metering device, a variable speed spaghetti puller along with a heavy duty model puller for use outside the apparel industry.
